About Henry W. Kronner

There are times when talking with friends or family members is not enough, and having someone who is trained to listen carefully and is able to help people change patterns of behavior.   Changing patterns of behavior and thinking often leads to decreased depression, decreased anxiety, increased contentment, and peace.

One of the most important messages I share with clients is the importance of decreasing judgments of self and others, and working to understand who they are so they can accept themselves for who they are.

Henry has been a social worker since 1991, and for over 30 years he has provided counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.  Henry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCW) in both Florida and Illinois.

He received his doctorate (Ph.D.) in social work from Loyola University of

Chicago and his master’s in social work (MSW) from the University of Michigan.  He currently is an Associate Professor in Social Work at Regis College.

Henry uses an integrative approach when working with clients.  This means he uses psychodynamic theories to help understand his clients and how their past impacts their present.  He also uses cognitive behavioral therapy to work toward changing patterns of behavior/thinking.

In his free time, Henry enjoys spending time with his husband where they ride bikes, play Pickleball, go swimming, and enjoy watching TV/movies. He also enjoys socializing with friends and family.
